Training Education Series

The training education series provides coaches instruction covering a variety of topics that will help enhance their ability to train their teams. The training education series will cover sports nutrition, program design. periodization, energy system development, and testing / evaluation.

Sports Nutrition – Instruction in general, pre-game, in-game, and post-game sports nutrition and hydration.

Program Design – Instruction in how to optimally design performance enhancement programs for any athlete and sport.

Periodization – Teaches how to develop year-long training programs and how to balance physical and skill development during pre-season, off-season, post-season and in-season periods.

Energy System Development – Discusses how to match all phases of training with the energy system used in particular sports.

Testing / Evaluation – Show how to test your athlete’s speed, power, body composition, strength, movement and endurance levels as a way to gauge the progress of your athletes and the effectiveness of the training program.
